Welcome to my web site. I design and hand craft fine woodwork from my shop in the High Desert country of Central Oregon. I create original one of a kind art pieces.  I am not bound to working in the design parameters of any particular era.  Rather, I am drawn by the opportunity to create using style elements that feel appropriate to the place or situation.

More than a small part of the enduring quality that characterizes my work is the consideration that wood is a "live" medium.  I am aware that I am not only constructing a thing of utility but contributing to a process that facilitates the emergence of a living art form.
